FAQ
Can I book a class?
We highly recommend that you book your class in advance. You can check our schedule and book online via our ‘Schedule’ section. If it is your first time to our studio, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to register and get settled in!
What if I’m late?
Out of respect for our teachers and students, we do not allow entry to anyone who arrives more than 5 minutes after the class start time. If you arrive late, you may miss vital warm-ups for the body, so please take responsibility for your own safety by arriving on time!
Can I keep my phone with me?
We have a strict ‘no phones’ policy inside the classrooms, in order to preserve the tranquility of our space. Since phones can be very distracting for both students and teachers, we kindly ask that you leave yours in one of our free lockers. You may also hand it to reception staff at your own risk, allowing you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the classroom.
Do you provide yoga mats?
We do provide mats, 8mm thick and free of charge to use. Our staff carefully clean the mats between each class, so you can be sure to enjoy stepping on a fresh mat each and every time. We also provide blocks, belts, cushions and bolsters should you need them.
Can I shower at Yoga Pod?
Yes! We have hot showers available in both the male and female changing rooms. We provide all-natural hair/body castile soap, hand towels, but we recommend bringing your own if you prefer something bigger. We also have a hair-dryer available to borrow - please ask at reception.
Do you offer Prenatal Yoga?
We currently don’t hold any public prenatal classes. Some of our teachers are trained in prenatal yoga, and would be happy to offer private classes at the studio. Please check out the ‘our services’ section for more information. If you wish to attend our public classes while pregnant, please first consult your physician and let the teacher know prior to the start of the class.
Can I bring my child to practice?
In order to protect the peace and quiet of the studio, we do not allow children under the age of five to join our public yoga classes. From ages 5 and up, we leave it to the parent to decide; please only bring your child if you think that they are able to stay focused on the class and not disturb the other students.
Due to the nature of our check-in system, all of our memberships and class-passes are non-transferable. If your friend is visiting and would like to join you for a class, feel free to bring them along as a drop-in!
Can a friend use my Class Pass?
Can I practice with an injury?
No one knows your body better than you. If you are injured, be sure to check-in with a medical health professional prior to joining a yoga class. Empower yourself to learn about your limitations, and practice only within your comfort zone. Never push or force yourself during yoga, and be sure to mention any injuries to the teacher prior to the class.
